St Michael the Archangel, Rushall
St Michael the Archangel, Rushall, Walsall, is situated in Leigh Road, at the top of Harpur Close (WS4 2DS).
It is in the modern catholic tradition, with a sung Eucharist each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
There has been a church on this site since at least 1220, and the present building is the third, completed in 1868.
One of the church's distinctive features is the mural, 'The Praise of the Angels', by the Pre-Raphaelite artist E. Reginald Frampton, completed in 1905. The church's interior walls have commemorative stained glass, depicting scenes from the Bible.
